Lebanese Foreign Minister Abdullah Bu Habib appeared on CNN on the 2nd local time and claimed that "he had agreed to a three-week ceasefire led by the United States and France days before Hezbollah chief Hassan Nasrallah was killed."

When Habib told the U.S. and France the U.S. and France said Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu also agreed to a cease-fire.

He also said he had heard that Moss Hochstein, the U.S. special envoy for the Middle East, was going to Lebanon to negotiate a temporary ceasefire.

Habib, however, pointed to Israel's assassination of Hezbollah's leader, saying he "will know all what has happened since then."
