The People's Power decided to reject the revision of the Kim Gun-hee Special Prosecutor Act, the Chae Sang-byung Special Prosecutor Act, and the Local Currency Act, which are scheduled to be re-voted by the plenary session.
Floor leader Choo Kyung-ho told reporters after a general meeting of lawmakers that the president decided to reject and abolish the three bills that he demanded reconsideration.
He then said that if the Democratic Party of Korea re-proposes the bill, it will be voted down in the same way, and stressed that it should be with the people's livelihood so that it does not become a retroactive parliament.
The bill that the president demanded reconsideration requires more than two-thirds of the votes to attend the majority of the registered lawmakers, and if eight out of 108 members of the People's Power Party leave, the bill will be passed.
