Democratic U.S. presidential candidate Vice President Kamala Harris visited North Carolina, which was hit by Hurricane Hurlin, and promised federal recovery aid.
Harris thanked officials working on the recovery, providing shelter and food, and citizens helping the victims, and said federal aid would continue.
Subsequently, the aid distribution office helped pack the relief kits.
This is the second time in the last four days that Vice President Harris has visited hurricane-affected areas.
Former President Donald Trump, a Republican candidate, accused the federal aid of being insufficient, but North Carolina Gov. Roy Cooper, a Democrat, explained that the federal government has been helping since shortly after the incident.
