Prosecutors have decided not to indict Lee Jung-hun of the Democratic Party of Korea, who is suspected of violating the Public Official Election Act.

The Seoul Eastern District Prosecutors' Office said yesterday (4th) that it has disposed of Lee without charges for violating the Public Official Election Act.

However, the prosecution indicted them without detention, believing that it was a violation of the law that lawmaker Lee's election manager A provided 3 million won in cash to election clerk B, who did not even report it.

Earlier, before the last general election, lawmaker Lee was handed over to the prosecution on charges of promising to provide public office, such as sending a message to B saying, "Let's go to the National Assembly together if elected."
