CU, a convenience store, also said that sales at more than 30 stores near Yeouido, Yongsan and Banpo jumped sharply from the previous day. In particular, the average number of visitors to CU stores near the Han River Park increased nearly 100 times compared to the previous week.
By item, hot packs were the highest at 95.5 times compared to the previous week, and sales of winter food increased significantly, including 81.5 times for instant coffee, 73.3 times for hoppang, and 68.3 times for hot bars.
Sales of more than 20 7-Eleven convenience stores in Yeouido Hangang Park were similar the previous day.
Sales of instant foods such as Seven Cafe, which are instant coffee, and Gungu Goma and Chicken, respectively, increased 50 times compared to the previous week, and sales of hoppang jumped 30 times.
