A person in his 30s who distributed and administered drugs while running an association club centered on students from prestigious universities in the Seoul metropolitan area was also sentenced to prison in the second trial on charges of sexual violence.

The Seoul High Court sentenced a 31-year-old man, identified only by his surname Yeom, to four years in prison in the second trial on charges of threatening the use of filming under the Sexual Violence Punishment Act.

The court explained the reason for the sentencing, saying that the victim must have been threatened and suffered great mental pain with the filming that could be copied, and that the crime was bad in light of the details and contents of the crime.

Earlier, Yeom was sentenced to three years in prison in the first trial, but the second trial court found Yeom guilty of receiving some drugs, increasing his sentence.

Yum was charged with threatening to distribute videos and sexual videos he learned in July 2020, or possessing and administering drugs such as ecstasy and LSD.

Yum is on trial for one year since last year on charges of administering and distributing drugs while serving as president of an association club consisting of hundreds of students from universities in the Seoul metropolitan area.
