Police seize and search portal related to 'suspected leakage of personal information of civil petitioner by the Bust and Inspection Committee'

Police investigations are continuing into employees of the Korea Communications Standards Commission suspected of leaking personal information of civil petitioners.

The Anti-Corruption Investigation Unit of the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency recently raided the portal site's office to check the e-mails of employees of the Korea Communications Standards Commission.

The police were found to have raided the headquarters of Naver and the SK Communications office, which operates the portal site Nate.

This is the third seizure search for the alleged leakage of personal information of civil petitioners following the Korea Broadcasting Center's Korea Communications Standards Commission office on the 10th of last month.
