To commemorate Hangeul Day, which marks the 578th anniversary, 300 citizens gathered to present their works with a brush.

A variety of works catch the eye, including calligraphy written with the style of Hangul in neat and tidy letters, as well as ink paintings that show the beauty of lines and margins.

On one side of the square, there was another contest for children to compete for knowledge of Hangeul.

I was so engrossed in the Korean quiz competition that I cheered with the joy of getting the correct answer.

Even after the competition, all citizens, regardless of age or gender, are filled with joy in the things to enjoy related to Hangul.

I took a picture of my name with consonants and vowels in Hangul, and there was a booth where you could experience Hangul in various ways, leading to citizens' steps. The meaning of Hangul Day is new to not only children but also mothers on the Hangul Day outing with

family.

[Song Hyun / Gaebong-dong, Seoul: My kid is slowly learning Korean these days, and I came because I thought it would be better for him than just passing by.]
