North Korea, which will be checked by the UN in November, has claimed that the UN-adopted resolution on North Korea's human rights is an obstacle to human rights promotion.

He also referred to the three countries as "hostile forces" and argued that the military threats and isolation policies of the three countries are the most serious challenges to protecting residents' human rights.

North Korea has denied the poor human rights situation, claiming in a national report submitted prior to the UN Human Rights Council's review of universal human rights in November.

In its report, North Korea argued that the United States has been persistent in pursuing hostile policies, and that other hostile forces such as South Korea and Japan are also joining it, which is a major obstacle to improving people's lives.

He also denounced the North Korean human rights resolution, which has been adopted annually by the UN General Assembly and the Human Rights Council, as "the most hostile and politicized means of subverting socialism."

He also wrote that "a series of measures have been taken to ensure freedom of expression and access to information," even though ideological control has become so severe that distributing content produced from outside could lead to death.

The universal regular human rights review is a procedure in which the UN Human Rights Council checks the human rights situation of 193 member states and whether the recommendations are implemented every four and a half years.
