With novelist Han Kang's Nobel Prize in Literature, our culture has once again written a new history.

From K-pop to movies and dramas to literature, most of all, the most Korean works have been recognized globally.

What our cultures have in common on the international stage is that they contain Korean elements that anyone can nod to.

First, BTS, the group that made K-pop stand out in the global mainstream music market,

Living in a rapidly changing Korean society, he melted the precarious but beautiful 'youth face' into the song.

And these songs reached the top of Billboard, comforting young people around the world who were lonely by COVID-19.

The same goes for movies and dramas.

Our social contradiction film Parasite swept four awards at the Academy Awards, including best picture,
