German Chancellor Olaf Scholz has announced an additional military aid package worth 2 trillion won to Ukraine.
Scholz announced such additional support at a joint press conference after a summit meeting with Ukrainian President Zelensky during a visit to Berlin, Germany.
"It means Germany will continue to stand firmly by Ukraine," Scholz said, adding that he would not reduce support for Ukraine.
He also stressed that "attempts to buy time will not work" for Russia and that "peace in Ukraine can only be achieved in accordance with international law."
