Hwasun, Jeollanam-do, opened the nation's largest park golf course with 87 holes.

Park Golf is gaining huge popularity these days.

A large-scale park golf course opened in Hwasun in time for Hwasun County Residents' Day, which marks its 43rd anniversary this year.

The Hwasun Park golf course is composed of 87 holes. It boasts the largest scale in the country.

Park golf, which was mainly enjoyed by older adults, is decreasing in age these days.

It costs very little and you can do it even if it's not necessarily four people like golf.

[Koo Bok-gyu / Hwasun County, South Jeolla Province: We plan to have a national park golf competition here twice a year. So we created this park golf course with the idea that it would be okay to continue to encourage park golf for the health of the county residents and the health of our people in the future.

There are approximately 500,000 park golf enthusiasts nationwide,
The number of park golf enthusiasts is expected to continue to increase as the
municipality scrambles to create park golf courses for the health and welfare of the elderly.
