More than a year ago, the Gaza war has snowballed civilian damage.

In particular, it was found that the worst level of child damage ever occurred.

Reporter Kwon Young-hee reports.

Tents for Palestinian refugees fill the sand in Gaza's refugee camp.

It's mostly children and women.

You can't get food, water, or minimal necessities of life here.

They suffer from hunger and fear in poor conditions.

[Sonia Abu Palestinian Refugee] We fall asleep and wake up with the sound of bombing, the groans of women and children, the sighs. Why and for whom did children have to be subjected to this and give up their dreams and futures? What did we do wrong?]

Six thousand women and ten thousand children were killed during the Gaza War.

The number of child victims is far higher than any conflict in the last 20 years.

That's a huge amount compared to the record of 10,000 child victims in the first two and a half years of the Syrian conflict.

In addition, the figures did not include the unidentified, missing or some 20,000 people buried in the rubble of the bombing.

More than 25,000 children lost their parents and many were seriously injured in the bombing.

[Braggy Goodbrandsson, Vice-Chairman of the United Nations Committee on the Rights of the Child: I don't think I've ever seen a large-scale violation of children's rights like what's happening in Gaza right now.]

Israel has attacked civilian infrastructure in Gaza with explosive weapons every three hours on average since the start of the war.

In November last year, there were only two days without bombing all year, except for a six-day temporary ceasefire.

Of the 36 hospitals in Gaza, only 17 are partially maintained.

Israel is now bombing Gaza, as well as the West Bank, Lebanon, and the Golan Heights.
