Korean Air resumes Incheon-Kumamoto route next month

Korean Air will operate a route between Incheon and Kumamoto, a Japanese tourist destination, once a day from the 24th of next month.

Korean Air, which has been operating the Gimpo-Kumamoto route since 1991, was suspended in 1997 due to the foreign exchange crisis and reopened after 27 years.

Korean Air will also increase Incheon-Okayama-Kagoshima routes from the 27th, and resume Incheon-Nagasaki routes for the first time in 11 years.

Asiana Airlines will resume flights to Incheon-Kumamoto from the 7th of next month for the first time in eight years and seven months, and Eastar Jet will open the Busan-Kumamoto route from December 19.
