Recall 'death bouncer' who suffocated 5 babies...Products sold in Korea as well [Anchor Report]

This is considered a 'nice item for raising children' and is common at home where babies are raised.

It's the 'Bouncer' to shake.
All Fisher-Price's 'Snuga Swing' bouncer, which sold more than 2 million units in the United States alone, has been recalled this time.

This is because the risk of suffocation has been raised, with five babies between the ages of 1 and 3 months losing their lives after sleeping on this bounce for 10 years from 2012.

It is sold for around 300,000 won in Korea through overseas purchasing agency sites.
The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission warned, "This product should never be used for sleeping and should not be added to other bedding, such as blankets, even during waking hours."

In August, the Korea Consumer Agency also said that more than half of sleep products such as bouncers and anti-reflux cushions sold in Korea for infant sleep are likely to cause suffocation.

Because infants without stones have narrow airways and cannot control their necks, putting a child to sleep in sloping sleeping equipment can cause their heads to lean forward and pressure their airways, and their mouths and noses can become clogged as their bodies turn upside down.
According to the
Statistics Office, 275 infants have died in the past five years from so-called "courtesy" and "infant death syndrome," which occur during sleep for no apparent reason.

Experts are urging the infant to lie upright on a hard, flat surface and never leave anything in the sleeping area except mattresses and sheets.
