Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport's female civil servants ratio is much lower than average

Among government departments, the proportion of female civil servants in the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport is significantly lower than the average of the entire administration.

According to the data received by Ahn Tae-joon of the National Assembly's Land, Infrastructure and Transport Committee from the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport and the Ministry of Personnel Management, the proportion of women among civil servants with level 4 or higher in the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport stood at 13.1% as of last year, significantly lower than the ratio of female civil servants in the government's total class of 25.1%.

In addition, none of the 28 organizations under the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport have female heads.

Compared to the total rank, the proportion of female civil servants in the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport was 27.6%, which was significantly lower than 39.4% of female civil servants in the entire Korean government.
