Mapo-gu, Seoul, has urged former President Kim Dae Jung's residence to be designated as a temporary national registered cultural heritage.

Park Kang-soo, head of Mapo-gu District Office, visited the Daejeon Government Complex of the National Heritage Administration and delivered an official letter requesting the designation of a temporary national registered cultural heritage, emphasizing the historical value of the Donggyo-dong residence and the necessity of registering cultural heritage.Mayor Park

said that the late former President Park Kim Dae Jung is the first Korean Nobel Prize winner and dedicated himself to peace in the Republic of Korea, and expects it to be a future historical and cultural asset that can be enjoyed together by the important historical heritage of the Republic of Korea, Donggyo-dong House.

Then, we plan to establish a support organization to purchase private homes and proceed with the formal national heritage registration process, and push for support projects such as granting honorary road names and installing information boards on Kim Dae-jung-gil.
