Due to the unusually hot weather this summer, high-temperature damage to crops that need to be harvested is being revealed one after another.

The pear does not grow properly, causing a fall phenomenon, and the grapes that remain undercooked have given up harvesting themselves.

This is reporter Kim Ki-soo.

Ships are scattered on the orchard floor as if they were hit by a typhoon.

The boat that fell on the floor rotted black everywhere, and the boat that was supposed to ripen yellow turned red.

Due to the heat wave exceeding 35 degrees Celsius this summer, the growth is not good, causing natural fruits in which trees drop their own boats.

Even the boats barely hanging from the trees can't find anything normal.

I picked a boat on the tree. It looks fine, but it's completely rotten inside.

In one farmhouse alone, nearly half of the boats were damaged, but they lost their marketability so much that they couldn't even make it with juice.

It's a time when you have to harvest the last minute, but the heat wave ruined the year-long farming.

[Kim Jayu / Farmers of pear fruit farms: If you open 100 boxes, it's about 50% for many farms. It seems that even a small number of farms suffered about 30% damage. I'm holding it because I don't know if I should keep farming fruit trees.]

The same goes for the vineyards.

It's time to finish the harvest, but grapes are still hanging from the stems undercooked.

The temperature must drop to around 17 degrees at night before it is blackened, but due to the long tropical nights, the grapes remain red or blue.

Some farms gave up harvesting altogether.

[Kim Kyung-ja / Grape farmer: The color has to come to a certain extent and the weather has to be cool to a certain extent, but it's hot and sunny, so they're just blue.]

It is difficult to find high-quality products with large eggs as the sensitivity of the harvest is not growing properly due to the heat.

The harvest season has come after overcoming the heat, but farmers are feeling more anxious due to the heat wave damage that has been revealed belatedly.
