Amid the parliamentary conflict for eight months, two medical organizations, including the Korean Medical Association, have decided to participate in the ruling and opposition parties' consultative body.

Politicians welcomed it, but medical students and medical students are not willing to participate, and participating organizations are also expected to face labor as they make next year's medical school quota a condition for discussion.

The Korean Medical Association and the Korean Medical University and Medical School Association have decided to enter the ruling and opposition party council in a surprise move.

This is the first time that a major doctor's group has decided to participate after the issue of the consultative body emerged around the passport.

These groups expressed their opposition to the current government's unilateral policy implementation and support for residents, but said they could not watch the collapse of medical care in Korea and explained the reason for their participation.

He then emphasized that the consultative body will discuss not only the approval of medical students on leave of absence, but also the number of medical students for next year, when the entrance examination has already begun.

The dialogue body to resolve the legislative conflict took the first step after twists and turns, but there are many difficulties.

The Korean Medical Association, the only legal organization and the largest, has repeatedly confirmed that it does not participate in the consultative body, even though it respects the decision of the two groups.

In particular, medical students and medical students who hold the key to resolving legislative conflicts took a stand and drew a line that they were not willing to participate in the shameless consultative body.

In addition, unconditional acceptance of medical student leave of absence and re-discussion of the number of medical students in 2025 are also major obstacles to negotiations.

Politicians welcomed the launch itself, but there was a temperature difference between the ruling and opposition parties.

Han Dong-hoon, head of the People's Power, who has worked hard on forming a consultative body, said on social media that he welcomes medical participation and expects it to be a starting point for solving the medical situation.

The Democratic Party of Korea said it was fortunate to have decided to participate, but urged the government and the ruling party to do their best to make it possible for residents to participate.

In the end, the consultative body is operated to find a clue to solving the problem through dialogue, but normalization of the medical system is expected to be a difficult journey to achieve results.
