The first case of a spreading variant of M.Fox infection in Africa has occurred in Germany.

German disease control authorities said on the 18th that sub-system 1b type (clade 1b) virus was detected in M.Fox patients.

Authorities said the patient was infected abroad and "do not believe the risk of spreading has increased in Germany."

Type 1b is a new variant of the M.Fox virus with a high fatality rate and high transmission speed, which has spread rapidly in Africa this year.

Outside of Africa, it was first discovered in Sweden in mid-August.

Norway's health authorities also announced that there was one case of M.Fox infection.

This patient was infected with a type 2 virus with less symptoms than type 1b.

The Africa Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has reported that 1,100 people have died from M.Fox by the 17th of this year.

The World Health Organization (WHO) declared an international public health emergency (PHEIC), the highest level of health alert, in August as the variant M-Fox was prevalent.
