Preferential treatment or safety measures...Incheon International Airport Arguments On 'Separate Door for Celebrities' Policy

2024.10.23 오전 11:01
Incheon International Airport Corporation will open doors for celebrities such as celebrities to enter and exit separately.

Recently, the Incheon International Airport Corporation sent an official letter titled "Request for cooperation in compliance with the procedure for using Incheon Airport's exclusive doors when artists leave the airport so that celebrities can use other doors than ordinary passengers to prevent congestion in the airport.

In response, an official from Incheon International Airport Corporation told YTN, "There are reports that there is a door dedicated to celebrities, but it is not true. There is already a door dedicated to the downtown airport for flight attendants, but only celebrities are included in the use," he said.

The official added, "This is to prevent on-site congestion that occurs when celebrities leave the country, and you must apply in advance."

Until now, when famous celebrities such as singers and actors enter and leave the country, reporters and fans gathered, causing a stir. Recently, actor Byun Woo-seok also experienced controversy over the "emperor's security" as his bodyguards controlled the airport entrance gate and shone a flashlight on ordinary passengers while departing for Hong Kong.

However, there is a lot of controversy online over the Incheon International Airport Corporation's plan to use separate doors for entertainers. Some argue that it is a preferential treatment and that it helps prevent accidents that can occur when crowds gather.
