The fighting between Israel and Lebanese militant Hezbollah has intensified day after day.

Hezbollah, which has lost even its next head,

Following the red flame, thick smoke spreads in all directions.
An Israeli airstrike hit a downtown residential complex directly.
Israel has been carpet-bombing across Lebanon day after day, saying it will wipe out Hezbollah's strongholds.
With more than 2,500 deaths in Lebanon, more than 1.2 million people have fled.
Residents who lost their homes overnight due to the Israeli army's heavy fire are devastated.
[Isam Awad / Lebanese Tirre resident] We were sitting down like everyone else, and all of a sudden, without warning, the shelling started and the shelling exploded one after another. It's just a relief that everyone is safe and no one is hurt.]
Hezbollah also continues to attack Israel day and night.
It says it has launched dozens of rockets and drones into the Israeli capital of Tel Aviv and military facilities in the north.
Hezbollah officially confirmed that Hashim Safiedin, who was widely considered to be the successor to the dead leader Nasrallah, was also killed in an Israeli airstrike.
U.S. Secretary of State Tony Blinken, who visited Israel, said most of Israel's strategic goals have already been achieved and stressed the need to end the war.

Blinken continues his 11th Middle East tour since the Gaza War, trying to revive the spark for ceasefire negotiations, but a breakthrough is not easily achieved.
