In addition, the Democratic Party of Korea is pushing for a plan to vote on the third special prosecution law proposed to investigate the suspicion of Kim Gun-hee at the plenary session of the National Assembly in the middle of next month.

A key party official told YTN that since most of the parliamentary audits will be completed this month, it will be reviewed by the Legislation and Judiciary Committee and put to a vote at the plenary session on the 14th of next month.

It also said it plans to hold a plenary session on the 31st to introduce an amendment to the operating rules that excludes the ruling party's right to recommend permanent special prosecutors.

If the special prosecution law vote takes place on the 14th of next month, the re-decision due to the exercise of the veto is expected to be as early as the end of November, as the president can request a reconsideration within 15 days.
