The ruling and opposition parties' common pledges for people's livelihoods, which were agreed upon by Han Dong-hoon and Lee Jae-myung of the Democratic Party of Korea last month, will be launched on the 28th.

Kim Sang-hoon, chairman of the People's Power Policy Committee, said at the Supreme Council that the purpose is to put the pledge policy and public welfare bills promised by the ruling and opposition parties during the last general election on the "fast track" regardless of political strife.

A Democratic Party floor official also explained in a phone call with YTN that the chairman of the policy committee of both parties and the deputy floor leader will meet on the 28th.

Earlier, the representatives of the two parties agreed to discuss ways to expand the semiconductor and artificial intelligence industries, expand the power grid, and support measures to ease the burden on household debt at the common pledge council for people's livelihoods.
