Japan's NHK reported that the three security chiefs of South Korea, the United States and Japan will hold a meeting in Washington, U.S. on the 25th local time.

National Security Office chief Shin Won-sik, U.S. National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan and Japan's National Security Director Takeo Akiba will attend the meeting.

At the meeting, the chief security officer of the three countries is expected to share his perception of maintaining trust between the officials so that the security policy between South Korea, the U.S. and Japan does not change significantly after the U.S. presidential election on the 5th of next month, NHK said.

It is also expected to confirm the policy of further strengthening trilateral cooperation, including the establishment of a system that can jointly cope with international issues.

The chief security officer of the three countries, South Korea, the U.S. and Japan, is also expected to hold individual bilateral talks.
