It's the lowest level in six weeks since September.

In this regard, an official from the presidential office said, "We will listen to the public more carefully under the strict awareness of the situation," and said, "We will do our best to make up for the shortcomings."

In particular, he reacted sensitively to the fact that the economy and people's livelihood issues were cited as the reason for the negative evaluation as well as the controversy over First Lady Kim Gun-hee.

The official said domestic demand showed signs of recovery in the third quarter, but growth fell short of expectations due to weak export adjustments and construction, adding that he would seek countermeasures if necessary.

He strongly refuted the allegations against the presidential office.
