Russia "North Korea shows interest in BRICS activities"

North Korea has shown interest in the activities of BRICS, an alliance of emerging economies, including Russia, the Russian foreign ministry said.

Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergey Ryabkov responded to a press conference on the 25th local time when asked if North Korea had applied to join the BRICS, Interfax news agency reported.
