The Supreme Court will conduct a detailed hearing on the revision of the ruling by the appeals court of SK Group Chairman Chey Tae-won and Art Center Director Noh So-young.
The Supreme Court decided to continue hearing the case of re-appeal filed by Chairman Choi against the decision to revise the ruling without dismissing the hearing.
Earlier, the Seoul High Court revised the price of SK shares from 100 won to 1,000 won per share in May 1998 through corrections that corrected some of the contents when Chairman Choi pointed out errors in the ruling through a press conference.
The court said it was only a correction of the calculation error and had nothing to do with the result of the sentence, but Chairman Choi appealed again to cancel the correction, saying it was not just a matter of correcting the figures.
The deadline for non-continuance of the hearing of the divorce lawsuit, which will be held separately from the case, is until the 8th of next month, and if no decision is made to dismiss it by then, the Supreme Court is expected to continue its hearing on key issues such as the legality of the SK property formation process and the contribution of both sides.
