Police "36 Week Abortion Doctor Reveals Murder Intent..."Re-application for warrants"

2024.10.28 PM 09:44
Regarding the so-called "36-week abortion" allegations, police said the intention of the murder was obvious and that they would consider whether to reapply for an arrest warrant.

Woo Jong-soo, head of the National Investigation Division of the National Police Agency, said at a regular press conference held today (28th), "The fetus was delivered normally and later died due to neglect, so we can apply murder."

So far, police investigations have reportedly claimed that the fetus has already been stillborn, and Director Woo pointed out that the intention to kill the fetus was recognized based on objective circumstantial evidence.

He also said he would consider whether to reapply, saying that the arrest warrant for the hospital director and the family doctor was rejected once, but for reasons other than pointing out that there was room for dispute over the crime.

In addition to this incident, we are also looking into allegations that the hospital has requested additional fetal cremation, he said, adding that the investigation is equivalent to a charge.
