When the Democratic Party of Korea announced the implementation of a revision to the National Assembly Act, which included the abolition of the automatic department at the plenary session of the budget bill, the People's Power protested, calling it a de facto parliamentary retrograde law.

Kim Sang-hoon, chairman of the policy committee, held a press conference and urged Park Chan-dae, the floor leader of the Democratic Party and chairman of the National Assembly's operation committee, to stop the independent process of the National Assembly Act now.

He said that the automatic budget bill system at the plenary session was enacted by ruling and opposition parties to prevent unconstitutional and habitual delays in the budget process, and pointed out that if the system is abolished, the Democratic Party is likely to insert a populist cash spray budget with the delay in the budget process.

The Democratic Party's unconstitutional behavior is an attempt to paralyze the national budget, and in fact, it can be called a new Lee Jae-myung budget bulletproof," he said, stressing that the power of the people will prevent it in accordance with the Constitution and the National Assembly law procedures.
