At around 9:40 last night (1st), a fire broke out at the postpartum care center on the 8th floor of a 10-story building in Opposition-dong, Paju-si, Gyeonggi-do, and was extinguished in about 10 minutes.

No one was injured as the sprinklers operated and 38 people, including 14 newborns, were evacuated, but the fire caused an estimated 68 million won in damage due to the burning of internal appliances such as beds.

The fire department estimates that the heat of the dry towel in the massage room of the postpartum care center led to the fire.
