At around 9:30 a.m., former lawmaker Kim Young-sun attended the Changwon District Prosecutors' Office.
Asked by reporters, former lawmaker Kim said he was investigated by the prosecution in June this year, explaining various suspicions about himself until now.
The charges imposed on former lawmaker Kim Young-sun are "violation of the Political Fund Act."
Former lawmaker Kim handed over 90 million won to Myung Tae-kyun dozens of times after being elected in a by-election in June 2022.
The prosecution suspects that the money passed to Myung was the price of the nomination.
The prosecution is analyzing tablet PCs and mobile phones secured by searching Myung's home twice.
Earlier, Kang Hye-kyung, former lawmaker Kim's accounting manager, claimed that Myung helped the president in the last presidential election and in return made Kim win the nomination.
The prosecution compared 27,000 recorded files secured from Kang Hye-kyung, and plans to call Kang back to investigate if necessary.
In addition, the core of the suspicion is that Myung Tae-kyun will be summoned this week.
So far, I've delivered it from the national department.
