Park Dae-sung (30), who brutally murdered a teenage high school girl who had no idea in Suncheon, Jeollanam-do, and tried to kill her second time by visiting a bar, claimed at the first hearing that he had "no memory" of some of the charges.
The Gwangju District Court held its first hearing today (5th) of Park Dae-sung, who was arrested and charged with murder and preliminary murder.
"Park Dae-sung decided to kill the victim who was walking on the street and moved 800 meters, confirmed that there was no sign of him and stabbed the victim with a weapon," the prosecution said in an explanation of the indictment. We have attacked the victims who are resisting several times," he said.
"Park Dae-sung, who ran away with his slippers peeled off, additionally searched for someone who could easily overpower him, who was operating alone. "I covered the weapon with a T-shirt," he said, believing that Park Dae-sung prepared for another murder.
According to the prosecution, Park ran out of the bar when his owner was wary of his bare feet. At the karaoke room he visited, he asked for a receptionist and then tried to commit the crime, asking him to close the door, but when the owner was afraid of Park Dae-sung's tattoo, he ran out again.
In an opinion released to the court, Park Dae-sung said, "I admit to murder, but I don't know about the second crime for the purpose of murder," adding, "I don't remember." It depends on how people think," he claimed.
Park Dae-sung's next hearing will be held at 2 p.m. on the 26th.
