A special exhibition has begun to commemorate this.

The bowl gate, which can be said to be a symbol of the Donghak Peasant Revolution.
It is the original copy of General Jeon Bong-joon and others transcribed a notice announcing the plan to invade Jeolla and advance to Seoul.

Two letters in Chinese characters and Korean characters announced during the uprising in Mujang in March 1894.
The letter in Korean is from the arrested peasant revolutionary army to his mother in his hometown, and the letter in Chinese is from the peasant revolutionary army asking for military funds from his younger brother.

A special exhibition commemorating the registration of Donghak Peasant Revolution records as World Heritage Sites [Records of Revolution inscribed in the world].
Of the 185 related records listed as World Heritage Sites last year, more than 40 original objects will be displayed.
These are the records held by Seoul National University Gyujanggak, the National Palace Museum, the National Library of Korea, and the Donghak Memorial Foundation.

This special exhibition will be held at the Revolutionary Memorial Park Exhibition Hall, which houses the statue of General Jeon Bong-joon, the center of the revolution, in Ochohyeonjeon Hall in Jeongeup.
It is a sculpture made to symbolize the 90 places where the Donghak Peasant Army revolted, the pillar of echo just outside the exhibition hall. This special exhibition will last a long time until April next year.
