Regardless of Korean or foreign movies, the recently released works are hardly working hard.
Gladiator's sequel to his return after 24 years will be released this week and will meet with audiences.
Reporter Kim Seung-hwan reports.

As of last month, the number of Korean moviegoers was only 70% of the same period last year.
Even Korean films, which have been recognized for their cinematic quality, have fewer than 1 million viewers, and the situation of foreign films is the same, with Joker's sequel, which drew 5.28 million people, losing to the box office.
This is because as more and more movies that have just been released are posted on OTT, they do not necessarily visit theaters unless they are works that enjoy the movie theater's own experience.

Even if you don't watch the first film, it's not too difficult to understand the play, and it catches the eyes of the audience with a huge scale of more than 400 billion won in production costs.
[Denzel Washington / Starring in 'Gladiator 2' : (On set) I had the experience of being there as a Roman. It was an overwhelming set.]
We are interested in whether Hollywood's masterpiece, which maximizes the audiovisual effect of the theater, will be chosen by more demanding audiences.
