The Overseas Korean Office is supporting the global expansion of excellent domestic venture companies.
The Overseas Koreans' Office announced that it will hold a "Global Entry Support Program for Venture Companies" in Toronto, Canada, for three days from the 11th.
The Overseas Koreans' Office explained that the program will include a seminar on strategies for entering Canada, a corporate briefing session, a one-on-one business meeting between overseas Korean companies and local companies or institutions, and a visit to Toronto-related organizations.
This program is a follow-up to the 22nd World Korean Business Conference held last month, especially to help companies participate in the startup competition organized during the competition to advance into the global market.
The Overseas Korean Administration also supported domestic startups entering the U.S. market during the 21st World Korean Business Conference last year.
The Overseas Korean Administration and the World Korean Venture Network said they hope that the program will help Korea's top start-ups make more inroads into the local market by utilizing the network of Korean companies.
