Mr. B did not properly investigate the autopsy results of the National Forensic Service that it was suspected of murder at the time, and it was found that he was the only one who investigated Mr. C, a resident living above the defendant.

At that time, Mr. C told the police that he had not witnessed or heard the incident.

B did not investigate the neighbor D, a key witness of the incident, even though he appeared on CCTV nearby on the day of the incident.

When Chief Judge Oh asked, "In general, don't you ask your neighbors if there was a loud noise when a case occurs?" B admitted to his mistake and replied, "I couldn't check it thoroughly and I regret it."

A bowed his head from the defendant's seat, saying, "Thank you, detective," to Inspector B, who was about to stand up after the witness examination.

On the same day, the prosecution demanded a 15-year prison term for A.
