North Gyeongsang Province Governor Lee Chul-woo and Gyeongju Mayor Joo Nak-young visited Peru, where the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) summit will be held, to promote the APEC summit in Gyeongju from October to November next year.
Peruvian media and foreign media reportedly showed great interest in next year's APEC summit, asking the visiting group for an interview.
More than 20,000 people, including heads of 21 countries, corporate CEOs, and reporters, are expected to visit the APEC summit in Gyeongju next year.
