3 fire buildings in Paju factory burned down...600 people evacuated from train fire at Giheung Station

A big fire broke out at the factory in Paju-si, Gyeonggi-do, and the second stage of response was once issued.

More than 600 passengers were evacuated and the train passed non-stop for more than an hour as a train stopped at Giheung Station on the Suinbundang Line also caught fire.

Around 11 a.m., a factory in Gwangtan-myeon, Paju-si, Gyeonggi-do caught fire.

[Witness: Fire trucks have come and are spraying water. And there are about two fire helicopters that continue to come and spray water alternately.]

Two employees evacuated themselves and no one was injured, but the fire burned down and spread to two nearby factories.

Fire authorities issued the second stage of response, mobilizing 51 to 80 units of equipment, and put out the large fire within four hours.

At Giheung Station on the Suinbundang Line, a fire broke out with sparks flying from the electricity supply above the train.

Fire authorities dispatched put out all the fires in 20 minutes, and fortunately, no one was injured.

However, in the aftermath of the fire, more than 600 passengers on the accident train suffered inconvenience in moving to other means of transportation such as buses.

In Jincheon, Chungcheongbuk-do, the excavator that finished its operation caught fire.

No one was injured, but the fire department estimated 70 million won worth of property damage.

The Jeonju District Prosecutors' Office arrested 30 gang members in Jeonju, North Jeolla Province, and put them on trial.

They tried to hire minors by taking them as members of the action or combining them with gangs in Seoul.

In addition, it was investigated that they caused damage by arguing with citizens for no reason, taking off their tops and showing tattoos on the street, and assaulting them.
