Park Chan-dae, floor leader of the Democratic Party of Korea, stressed that the only solution is to reveal the truth through an independent counsel, saying there are growing doubts that the prosecution investigating the allegation of Myung Tae-kyun will be able to expand the investigation to the upper level.Floor leader

Park pointed out at the Supreme Council that the prosecution's investigation has been sluggish for months after the Election Commission filed a complaint against former lawmaker Kim Young-sun.

He then argued that the public's anger will grow uncontrollably if he refuses to be independent again, saying that Yoon Suk Yeol's alleged involvement in the nomination was revealed and that Myung's backbenchers were the president and his wife.

He also demanded cooperation from Han Dong-hoon, the leader of the People's Power, who boasted that he would submit a list of parliamentary investigators by the 27th to find out the truth of the case of Chae's death.
