Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Strategy and Finance Choi Sang-mok humbly listened to the voices of the field and asked them to come up with policies to increase public sentiment in preparing measures to overcome polarization.

Deputy Prime Minister Choi held an expanded executive meeting of the Ministry of Strategy and Finance today (25th) and stressed that the people are demanding changes from the Ministry of Strategy and Finance.

From the public's point of view, as the economic sentiment may deviate from the indicators, the Ministry of Economy and Finance's employees were buried in numbers and statistics and asked to re-check whether they were negligent in understanding the people's livelihood.

At the same time, he reiterated that the site of people's livelihood should be the starting point of the policy as there should be no gap between the site and the policy, and ordered the government to strengthen additional support for small business owners and provide economic policy directions for next year.

Deputy Prime Minister Choi called for the Ministry of Economy and Finance to take the lead in responding to the incoming wave of global security topography uncertainties, and asked for a more rigorous awareness of the economic situation in response to the impact of external uncertainties such as policy transformation following the launch of the new U.S. government.

Referring to the need to thoroughly prepare for finance, foreign exchange, trade, and industry, he called for the employees of the Ministry of Economy and Finance to take the initiative with more tension in order to turn crisis factors into opportunities.
