When President Yoon Suk Yeol declared an emergency martial law last night (3rd), some citizens and National Assembly officials gathered in front of the National Assembly in Yeouido.

Police have blocked people trying to enter the National Assembly since President Yoon Suk Yeol declared an emergency martial law.

Only lawmakers, aides, officials from the National Assembly Secretariat, and reporters from the National Assembly were allowed to enter after identifying themselves.

Military helicopters appeared over the National Assembly, and over time, military troops gathered in front of the National Assembly, raising tensions.

There were also situations in which citizens gathered in front of the National Assembly were confronted by the news of the declaration of martial law.
