Amid growing market instability due to the emergency martial law crisis, ministers of major economic ministries have begun to look at the aftermath and come up with countermeasures.

Trade, Industry and Energy Minister Ahn Deok-geun canceled all external schedules and started checking the impact of domestic industries.

An emergency meeting was held early this morning to check the economic industry situation and energy supply and demand following the declaration of an emergency decree, and the real economic impact in Korea is also being examined.

In particular, the situation is likely to affect major national tasks such as the development of the deep-sea gas field in the East Sea and the export of new nuclear power plants in the Czech Republic.

Land, Infrastructure and Transport Minister Park Sang-woo also decided to cancel some of the scheduled schedules and focus on checking the situation of transportation and construction sites.

However, the railway emergency transportation countermeasures inspection meeting will be held at 2 p.m. in preparation for a general strike by the railway union.

Yoo Sang-im, Minister of Science and ICT, convened executives to discuss measures such as providing stable communication networks.

Minister of SMEs and Startups Oh Young-joo has decided to cancel all external official schedules to check matters related to the ministry.

Minister of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries Robber called a meeting of executives last night to instruct them to carry out their duties without a hitch.
