NICE will appear on "Show! Music Core"? SM-MBC, Virtual Cooperation 'Hands Up'

SM Entertainment (SM) has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with MBC to develop the virtual industry in the media and contents sector.

SM held a business agreement ceremony with MBC at the MBC headquarters in Sangam-dong on the afternoon of the 11th for the "development of the virtual industry in the media and content sector," and SM co-CEO Tak Young-joon, SM Chief Creative Officer Park Joon-young, MBC CEO Ahn Hyung-joon, MBC Entertainment Director Jeon Jin-soo and MBC Virtual Content Business TF Chairman Noh Si-yong attended the agreement ceremony.

According to this business agreement, SM and MBC plan to achieve common goals and achieve sustainable results by cooperating with each other through the development of the virtual industry in the media and contents field and the production of contents using the IP of SM's first virtual artist naevis. It will also collaborate in various ways, including appearing in "Music Core."

Tak Young-joon, co-chairman of SM, said, "SM is trying to create its own value, and I think that thanks to such efforts, SM and MBC have taken a meaningful first step in creating a future together today. With this agreement today, I hope that the two companies will create good synergy in various contents and businesses," he said.

Ahn Hyung-joon, CEO of MBC, said, "We expect the two companies to grow together in areas where they can demonstrate their capabilities, such as producing content using Naver's IP through cooperation between the two companies and creating a healthy virtual ecosystem."
