Joint Chiefs of Staff, Military Preparedness Check Meeting... "Maintaining Political Neutrality"

The Joint Chiefs of Staff announced today that it held a 'military preparedness situation inspection meeting related to the current situation' under the supervision of Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Kim Myung-soo.

The meeting was conducted in order, including the current situation evaluation, a review of military preparedness and military preparedness guidelines, and a strategic situation evaluation and response direction.

At the meeting, Chairman Kim Myung-soo ordered the government to prioritize national defense as well as the protection of the lives and property of the people, and to focus only on the military's original mission while maintaining political neutrality.
