The Gyeonggi provincial government said it will use 12.8 million won in donations raised by firefighters' calendar events to support low-income burn patients.
The province held a "2025 Gyeonggi-do Provincial Fireman Calendar Event Donation Ceremony" to deliver the donation to Seol Soo-jin, CEO of the Bestian Foundation.
Earlier in October and November, the province raised donations to support low-income burn patients through the "2025 Body Firefighter Calendar Presentation Event."
Kim Ja-in, a member of the national sports climbing team who attended on behalf of the sponsor, said, "I am even more happy to deliver the donation as the No. 1 sponsor."
Lee Won-il, a public relations officer in Gyeonggi-do, said, "We are happy to show Gyeonggi-do Province doing its best to protect the lives of its residents and keep them safe."
The donation delivered to the Bestian Foundation, a foundation specializing in supporting burn patients established in 2011, will be used to support treatment and living for low-income burn patients living in Gyeonggi Province.
