A man in his 70s who won a lottery worth about 48 billion won in Brazil died of a heart attack in less than a month.
The man won the lottery through a whopping 1 in 50 million chance, but died without even spending the prize money.
Recently, Brazilian man Antonio López (73) died on the 4th (local time), according to foreign media such as Brazilian media G1.
He won a lottery for the Mega Sena last month and received 201 million reais (about 48 billion won).The jackpot won by Mr. López
was the highest draw of the year and the top 10 in the history of the Brazilian Mega Sena lottery.
According to reports, 25 days after winning the lottery, he fell into cardiac arrest while undergoing implant procedures at the dentist and was taken to a nearby hospital, but was eventually pronounced dead.
Police conducted an autopsy to determine the exact cause of death, but only confirmed that cardiac arrest occurred, but the exact cause of death was not known.
According to local police, his hospital records show that he was usually suffering from high blood pressure and diabetes and had undergone dental treatment for a week.
