Czech nuclear power plant and blue whale project.

All of them are national projects that the current government has actively promoted.

The industry is closely monitoring the situation amid tensions to see if the martial law is causing business disruptions.

On the 9th, a day after the incumbent president was booked for rebellion, Czech nuclear power plant negotiators visited Korea.

This is the second visit after a large group of negotiators visited last month.

Last month, if the Czech power authority and the nuclear power plant ordering company mainly discussed the contract amount and terms, etc.

This time, Czech regulators are reportedly visiting to check the quality assurance system of nuclear power plants.

The nuclear power industry, which was worried that martial law would adversely affect its business plans, seems to have taken a breather.

An official from KHNP said, "The Czech Republic is in a position to proceed according to the negotiations, so we are preparing without a hitch with the aim of signing a final contract in March next year."

However, it is too early to be relieved that variables may arise due to domestic political uncertainty or a decline in external credit.

Another large-scale national project, the Great Whale Project, met the reef properly.

This is because the government's budget of 49.7 billion won was completely cut due to opposition resistance.

In other words, half of the business expenses required for the first drilling have been blown away, but if the money is not prepared by the balance payment deadline, the Korea National Oil Corporation has to pay in full.

The Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy says it will pursue both projects without wavering, but there are growing concerns about whether it will be able to continue its business power amid unfavorable eyes on the current government's national projects.
