U.S. President-elect Donald Trump has said he will end the war in Ukraine early through negotiations, although North Korea's intervention has made the war more complicated.
Asked if he would give up Ukraine, Trump told the U.S. weekly Time that the only way to reach an agreement is not to.
He also said he was looking at two major fronts: the war in Russia and Ukraine and the Middle East, and that if North Korea intervenes, it becomes another factor that makes it very complicated.
At the same time, he said he knew North Korean leader Kim Jong-un and got along very well, claiming that he was the only person Kim Jong-un has dealt with properly.
Asked if he had spoken to Russian President Vladimir Putin since the presidential election, he did not respond, saying it was not appropriate.
