If a child suddenly gets sick at night, the parents have no choice but to get sick,
Gyeonggi Province has greatly increased the number of 'Moonlight Children's Hospital' that can be treated at night and on holidays.
This is reporter Choi Myung-shin.

These days, the number of cold patients has increased significantly due to the large daily temperature difference
If a child suddenly has a fever after work hours, parents are worried about the hospital.
This is because there are not many places where you see a doctor at night.
[Kim Jae-eun / Parents of kindergarten students: The nearby hospitals close at 6 p.m., so I think I stomped on what to do.]
Patients flock to this children's hospital in the afternoon or evening later than during the day.
[Ko Geum-hee / Head of Nursing at Dasan Cheong Aaram Hospital in Namyangju: About 60% of the total number of patients who visit the hospital come after 4 o'clock. About 30% of the total after 6:30 p.m.]
The system introduced to solve this problem is 'Moonlight Children's Hospital'.
It is open from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m. on weekdays and from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on weekends.
Gyeonggi Province has designated 11 more Moonlight Children's Hospitals this year, up from 17 to 28.
In addition, 12 'vulnerable children's night and holiday treatment institutions' have been designated and operated so that medical conditions in vulnerable areas can be treated at night and on holidays.
We are also focusing on designating additional expansion next year.
[Kim Soo-jin / Head of Gyeonggi-do Emergency Medical Policy Team: In 25, we will work with cities and counties that do not have a pediatric night-time holiday treatment institution to expand Moonlight Children's Hospital and support the operation of pediatric emergency medical centers at Bundang Cha Hospital and Ajou University Hospital to resolve the blind spots of severe emergency medical care for children.]
The exact location and detailed information of the medical institution can be found on the Gyeonggi-do website.
